July 4th at Lake Fork

July 4th we spent the day/night at Lake Fork with Michael’s parents and his Nannie. It was a great time for sure!

A much needed weekend!

I have been longing for a weekend like this past weekend and it was so nice getting out of the house and into the great outdoors.

I have quickly fell in love with camping and being outdoors and just taking in all the beauty of being outdoors so this weekend filled my soul.

Revamping Our Patio Furniture

I don’t know about you but a good set of patio furniture is so dang expensive. We have been spending a lot more time outside here lately and I wanted to have something to enjoy on our porch. But brand new patio furniture was out of the question. So I went with the next best option, revamping our current table and chairs.

We started a garden!

A little over a month ago we started some different seeds in little planters we got and they definitely took off, they quickly needed to be replanted. They didn’t last long in those tiny little planter pots!

Celebrating Mother’s Day a little different this year

Mother’s Day this year was a little different but Michael and the kids made it so enjoyable.

Our first Jeep meet since quarantine

Things have definitely been so different around here without attending any Jeep events or Jeep meets. This past Saturday was our first meet since the Stay At Home order was lifted and my heart was so happy. There's something about being around like minded people that share the same passion, JEEPS!

Vintage Farmhouse Laundry Room Project

We won't have too much more time in our current home, maybe 3ish months tops, HOPEFULLY.
But I have had this project planned for our laundry room for about a year now. So I finally got the finishing items to complete it over the weekend. Nothing else much to do around here other than to add more projects to our plates. But all humor aside, the project was less than $5 and honestly not sure why I waited so long to do this. It turned out adorable!

Easy DIY Essential Oil Holder

For so long I have been wanting a way to store my Young Living Essential Oils but still have them out in the open. Having them out in the open keeps me accountable for using them. I was on the search for a shelf, cabinet, or fancy container for the longest time and was blown away at the price of some of these things. So my next option was a thrift store, but with the Corona Virus that was out of the question. I was at a standstill, until I stumbled upon this free and beautiful way to display them.

Shopping for our new home!

The time has finally come, and while things may not be exactly how we dreamed this day would be, it's what is going to work best for our family and I am so excited about getting our dream home, BUT for a whole lot cheaper.

Quick and Easy DIY Rustic Coat Hanger

Like I said in my last blog post, we've been trying to keep busy at home with the Corona Virus going on, so that meant it was time to do a DIY that I've been putting off for a few weeks now.

I'm back!

I lost all motivation to continue blogging after the beginning of February, but I'M BACK and I'm so glad!
I figured this was the perfect time to jump back in it with everything going on.
So now to catch y'all up on everything that has been going on since the last time I was on here.

Jeeps WILL change your life!

If someone told me 3 years ago that owning a Jeep would change my life... I wouldn’t believe them.

Celebrating 30!

Michael's birthday was on January 12th.
What started off as a "normal" day ended up being a really good birthday for him.

Thankful for the New Year!

Here it is almost 2 weeks into the new year and December just honestly felt like a blur.
From getting my dream Jeep at the beginning of December, squeezing all the Christmas festivities we could, family gatherings, being so busy at work (flu season... I'm so ready for it to be over with!), working Christmas Day and New Years day, and just all of the things in between.
I'm honestly glad it has came and gone.

I'm ready for new fresh starts, organizing things a little better in our home, tackling some home projects, and just for a new year in general.
